Rick Alvarez has been diagnosed with incurable bladder cancer that has now spread to his bones. The changes he and his family have had to make in the past year, along with the cost of treatment and other associated expenses, have taken a heavy toll on Rick and his wife, Linda. Some aspects of this journey cannot be shared by Rick and his family, but we want to show them that we can-and will-help carry the part of the burden that we can. As friends of Rick and Linda Alvarez, we are trying to help raise money to help this wonderful family walk their journey with a little less of a burden. Plans are currently in the works for several events aimed at raising money for Rick. A carwash, bowling tournament, and dinner with music, door prizes and raffles are ideas currently being researched or planned.
